Disney's Deep Fried Hawaiian Rolls are basically theme park magic you can make right at home. Sweet, fluffy King's Hawaiian rolls get fried until golden brown, tossed in cinnamon sugar, and drizzled with sweetened condensed milk. They taste just as insane as they sound and you need them!

Why You'll Love It
These Deep Fried Hawaiian Rolls are a total copycat Disney's newest sensation that are available at the Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs stand on Disney's BoardWalk.
The outside fries up golden brown and crisp while the inside stays soft and pillowy, giving you the perfect mix of textures.
Tossing them in cinnamon sugar makes them taste like little churro clouds, and the drizzle of condensed milk takes them right over the top. Ya'll, they are BONKERS good. Like get these away from me kind of good.
And the best part? You only need a handful of simple ingredients and about 15 minutes to make them. They're the perfect dessert recipe for when you need something on the fly.
And without a double, they're completely irresistible for family dinners when you want to surprise the kids, weekend brunch spreads, or even as a late-night snack when your sweet tooth strikes.
And if you've ever been to Disney and wished you could bottle up that food magic, this recipe is the easiest way to bring it home.
Ingredients & Substitutions
These ingredients are simple, but together they create a treat that feels way more special than the effort it takes to make them. Here's what you'll need to make these fried rolls:
- King's Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls: These are key for the flavor and fluffy texture. Any soft dinner roll will technically work, but nothing beats Hawaiian rolls.
- Oil for frying: Use a neutral oil with a high smoke point like canola or vegetable oil. I like using Graza's Frying Oil.
- White sugar: Sweetens and balances the cinnamon.
- Cinnamon: Brings that churro-like flavor. You can also add a pinch of nutmeg or pumpkin pie spice for a fall twist.
- Sweetened condensed milk: Thick, creamy, and just the right amount of indulgent. You could also dip them in caramel sauce or chocolate if you're feeling extra.
How to Make It
Here's how to recreate this Disney-inspired recipe at home:
- HEAT THE OIL: Pour oil into a Dutch oven with high sides and heat to 360°F. Use a thermometer for best results.
- FRY THE ROLLS: Pull apart the Hawaiian rolls and fry them in batches for 2-3 minutes, until the outsides are golden brown.
- MAKE THE CINNAMON SUGAR: While the rolls are frying, stir together the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- TOSS & COAT: Remove the fried rolls from the oil, drain briefly, then toss them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- DRIZZLE & FINISH: Transfer to a plate, drizzle with condensed milk, and serve warm.
- SERVE: Pile them high on a platter and serve with extra dipping sauces like caramel, chocolate, or even a cream cheese glaze.
- SAVE: Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 5-7 minutes to crisp them back up (the microwave will make them soft, but they'll still taste amazing).
