Here's the best way to make frozen meatballs in the crockpot! it's creamy, cozy, and unbelievably easy. With just three ingredients and minutes of prep, this slow cooker meatballs recipe is perfect for busy weeknights or game days when you want a no-fuss, crowd-pleasing dinner or easy appetizer.

Why You'll Love It
If you're looking for the best Frozen Meatballs in Crockpot recipe, I got you! This 3 ingredient easy appetizer (or dinner!) is the ultimate low-effort comfort food hero. You only need frozen Italian meatballs, a jar of marinara sauce, and a round of Boursin's garlic and herb cheese to make a creamy, flavorful, and cozy meal that tastes like you spent hours over the stove. The best part? The crock pot does all the work.
This easy meatball recipe is one of my favorite go-to slow cooker meals because it's so versatile. You can serve the tender Italian meatballs over egg noodles, pile them onto hoagie rolls for easy meatball subs, or spoon them over garlic bread for the perfect dinner. For an easy appetizer, all you need is to serve them with some toothpics and boom - you're the unsung hero of the party! If you want to switch things up next time, try using turkey meatballs, or make your own meatballs for a homemade twist.
Even better, there's almost zero cleanup. Just give your slow cooker a quick mist of nonstick cooking spray, toss everything in, and let it work its magic for 3-4 hours on high. After a little bit of cooking time, you'll have melty, saucy, creamy meatballs that are absolutely irresistible.

Ingredients & Substitutions
This 3-ingredient crockpot meatballs recipe couldn't be simpler! It's perfect for entertaining or an easy dinner time dish. It's such an easy way to make frozen meatballs and luckily there's no cornstarch slurry needed!
- Frozen Italian Meatballs: Any bag of meatballs will work. Try beef meatballs, turkey meatballs, or even homemade ones if you've got extra time.
- Marinara Sauce: Use your favorite store-bought jar or leftover sauce from another meal. Tomato basil sauce also works!
- Boursin Garlic and Herb Cheese: This adds creamy richness to the sauce. You can substitute with cream cheese, sour cream, or a small bowl of Parmesan cheese for a similar result.
Optional Additions: For more flavor, try adding italian seasoning or red pepper flakes. You can also swap in a packet of onion soup mix, sour cream, or beef broth for a Swedish meatballs twist. Or if you wanted to go another way, you could do different varieties like the retro way which is 1 12oz jar grape jelly, ¼ cup brown sugar and one 18 oz bottle of bbq sauce.

How to Make It
There's seriously no easier way to make slow cooker meatballs. Here's the best way to make dinner tonight without having to do much work!
- PREP THE CROCKPOT: You do'nt have to but if you wanted to spray the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking, go for it!
- ADD INGREDIENTS: Pour in the frozen Italian meatballs, marinara sauce, half a jar of water (shaken to get all the bits of leftover tomato sauce out), and the garlic and herb cheese.
- COOK TIME: Set your crock pot on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours. Stir once halfway through cooking at the 2-3 hours mark.
- SERVE: When the internal temperature of the meatball reaches 165°F, it's time to serve them! Try it with toothpics, over spaghetti, in hoagie rolls, or scooped up with garlic bread.
- SAVE: Store leftover meatballs in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat with a splash of cold water or beef broth to keep the sauce creamy.

What to Serve It With
These slow cooker meatballs are cozy and crave-worthy all on their own, but they pair perfectly with garlic bread or my creamy parmesan penne alfredo recipe.
