This crockpot buffalo chicken dip recipe is beyond easy! It’s the perfect game-day snack to eat as a dip, in sandwiches, in wraps, and more!
What is Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Dip
My Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Dip is one of those recipes that never get old!
And if you're looking to make slow cooker buffalo chicken dip with raw chicken, then this is for you!
Imagine the zesty punch of buffalo wings colliding with the dreamy richness of cream cheese, all slow-cooked to melty perfection.
To make it even cheesier, we're adding gooey sharp cheddar and tangy blue cheese.
Dive into this dip with a crisp celery stick or a chunky tortilla chip, and you'll find yourself doing a little happy dance.
Feel free to serve it in the crockpot itself or in a bowl with a baked cheesy crust.
Ingredients and Substitutions
- Skinless Chicken Breasts - No real sub here. If you want to use precooked chicken, that's fine too. Just skip the cooking the chicken in the ranch seasoning and milk part and add it when you add all the cheeses.
- Ranch Seasoning - This adds a nice depth to the chicken but if you don't have a ranch packet, you could use some all purpose seasoning.
- Milk - You could sub milk for broth.
- Buffalo Sauce - I recommend Franks Buffalo Sauce as it's my personal favorite. But you could also add another type of hot sauce if you'd prefer.
- Ranch Dressing - You could also use blue cheese if you prefer it over ranch dressing.
- Cream Cheese - Mascarpone or goat cheese could also work for the cream cheese but it will have a different taste.
- Shredded Cheddar - Any semi-hard melting cheese will work just fine. You can try pepper jack, white cheddar, mozzarella or more.
- Blue Cheese - This is totally optional. If you hate blue cheese, just leave it out.
- Chives - Also optional but some greenery is nice for garnish. You could also use scallions.
