These Jalapeño Popper Sausage Sliders are cheesy, spicy, and made for sharing. Think classic sausage balls meets jalapeño poppers, all baked into sweet, fluffy Hawaiian rolls with a creamy dunkable garlic parmesan sauce on the side.

Why You'll Love It
These sliders are the kind of recipe that disappear the second they hit the table. I created them by basically transforming 3 of my favorite game day eats into one tasty appetizer.
Just take everything people love about jalapeño poppers loaded with cream cheese, sharp cheddar, and just enough heat, and turn it into a hearty, sliceable party sandwich that feeds a crowd without stressing you out.
The sausage layer bakes up rich and flavorful. The cream cheese keeps everything tender and creamy, while the Bisquick gives it just enough structure so the sliders slice clean instead of falling apart. Pickled jalapeños add that tangy heat that cuts through all the richness, and the sweet Hawaiian rolls balance everything out perfectly.
And then there's the sauce. It's creamy, savory, and a little punchy from Worcestershire, garlic, and lemon. It's not optional. People will dunk, drizzle, and probably ask for extra.
These sliders are ideal for game day, holiday parties, casual get-togethers, or nights when you want "fun food" for dinner. You can prep them ahead, bake them fresh, and serve them straight from the pan. Minimal effort, maximum payoff - exactly how entertaining should feel.

Ingredients & Substitutions
These simple ingredients come together fast and create big, bold flavor with very little prep. Here's the everyday ingredients you'll need to make this recipe happen.
For the Sliders:
- King's Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls: Soft, slightly sweet rolls that hold everything together and balance the heat.
- Spicy pork sausage: Adds bold flavor and richness. Mild sausage works if you prefer less heat.
- Cream cheese: Makes the sausage mixture creamy and smooth. Full-fat works best here.
- Sharp cheddar cheese: Brings a salty, melty bite. Pepper jack is great for extra heat.
- Bisquick: Helps bind the mixture and gives it structure so it slices cleanly.
- Pickled jalapeños: Tangy, spicy, and perfect for cutting through the richness.
For the dipping sauce:
- Mayonnaise: The creamy base for the sauce. Greek yogurt or sour cream could also work.
- Parmesan cheese: Adds salty, savory depth. Pecorino also works.
- Worcestershire sauce: Brings umami and balance.
- Garlic cloves: Fresh garlic gives the sauce bite.
- Italian seasoning: Adds herby flavor - but you could use another all purpose seasoning if you don't have italian.
- Lemon juice: Brightens everything up. A splash of vinegar also works.
- Salt and black pepper: Season to taste.
How to Make these Jalapeno Popper Sausage Sliders
This recipe comes together quickly and bakes in one pan, making it perfect for parties or busy nights.
- PREHEAT THE OVEN: Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- MIX THE SAUSAGE FILLING: Add the room-temperature sausage, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Bisquick, and jalapeños to a stand mixer bowl. Mix on low speed for 1 minute, then increase speed and beat for 1-2 minutes until smooth and fully combined. You can also mix by hand if needed.
- ASSEMBLE THE SLIDERS: Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom layer on a baking sheet. Spread the sausage mixture evenly over the rolls from edge to edge.
- BAKE: Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.
- MAKE THE SAUCE: While the sliders bake, stir all dipping sauce ingredients together in a small bowl. Let it rest so the flavors meld.
- FINISH BAKING: Add the top halves of the rolls and return to the oven for 10 more minutes.
- SERVE: Remove from the oven, slice into sliders, and serve warm with the dipping sauce.
- SAVE: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the oven for best texture.
