Ingredients & Substitutions
- Tortilla Wrap: We love making tortilla pizzas in my family so this was a no brainer! You could also use naan or another thin, pliable bread as your crust.
- Marinara Sauce: I never have pizza sauce on hand so I opted for marinara sauce. If you do have pizza sauce, you can definitely use that.
- Mozzarella Cheese: Low moisture mozzarella is ideal when making this recipe because the cheese is more dry than a regular ball of fresh mozzarella. I like using Land'o'Lakes farmstyle shreds.
- Cup n Crisp Pepperoni: If you're a vegetarian, you could leave this off.
- Caesar Salad: This recipe uses a bag of caesar salad but you could absolutely make your own or use my easy caesar salad without anchovies recipe. You'll need about 3 cups if you prefer homemade.
- Optional Additions: I always add a squeeze of lemon to make a bagged caesar salad more delicious - so if you have one, definitely use it! You could also add parmesan cheese, fresh basil leaves, red pepper flakes and/or fresh oregano.
How to Make It
Making this caesar pizza wrap is incredibly easy! Here's how to do it most efficiently.
Assemble Pizza: The first step of making this 10 minute recipe is building the pizza. Grab a large baking sheet or a pizza stone and add your tortillas. Add marinara sauce in a thin layer and spread it evenly across the center of the tortillas. Sprinkle on mozzarella cheese shreds and then add pepperoni.
Broil Pizza: Place the rimmed baking sheet under the broiler (on high if you have the option) on the bottom rack of your oven and let it cook for a few minutes or until the pepperoni is crispy and the cheese has melted. Remove and set aside.
Assemble Salad: While the pizza is cooking, assemble the salad. Add your ingredients to a large bowl and toss. If you have fresh lemon, add the juice from half of it to wake up your bagged caesar salad. Toss everything together and season with salt and pepper before setting aside.
Build Wrap: Now it's time to scoop half of the caesar salad onto each one of the tortilla pizzas. Carefully roll up the wraps.
Serve: Cut it in half before serving.
Save: These pizza caesar wraps are best served right away before the caesar salad gets too soggy. If you want to save it for later though, just place any leftovers in a ziplock bag or wrap it with tinfoil and keep in the fridge for up to a day.
