Instead of a casserole dish, we're using a muffin tin to transform my homemade green bean casserole into perfect bite-sized snacks.

Ingredients & Substitutions
Here's everything you need to make these mini green bean casseroles:
- Cream of Mushroom Soup: To make my life easier, I always grab a can of cream of mushroom soup from Campbell Soup Company . Their creamy mushroom sauce takes the place of the heavy cream, fresh mushrooms, and seasoning and is the best way to save time and money and a trip to the grocery store.
- Green Beans: Since I feel like everyone has their hands full during thanksgiving, you can skip the fresh green beans and the boiling water. To make your life easier, I recommend using canned tender green beans just like in a classic green bean casserole.
- Cheddar Cheese: Like most of my favorite recipes, cheddar cheese is vital to these green bean casserole cups. You could definitely use another cheese
- French-Fried Onions: These little crispy onion bits
- Kosher Salt: You could also use sea salt or flaky salt.
- Crescent Roll Dough: Don't have any crescent roll dough? No worries. Try using pie crusts, puff pastry, or pre-made phyllo cups.

How to Make them
Let's give my favorite thanksgiving side dish a personal-size twist! Here are
Preheat Oven: Pre heat oven to 375F degrees.
Make Green Bean Mixture: In a large bowl, combine green beans, half of the cheese and half the crispy french fried onions. Top with Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup and salt and stir it all together and set aside.
Prep Dough: Cut the crescent roll dough into 1.5” equal squares and add 1 piece to a greased mini muffin tin (cooking spray or olive oil is fine), stretching to cover the inside of the muffin cup.
Assemble Bites: Add 1 tablespoon of green bean casserole mixture to each pastry square and evenly distribute another pinch cheese and crispy french fried onion topping.
Bake: Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
Serve: Remove and let rest for 5-10 minutes before removing from the muffin tin. Serve hot or at room temperature. Although they are best served same day, you can make them ahead of time and serve them the next day.

Mini Green Bean Casserole Appetizer Bites for Thanksgiving

Ingredients
- 1 10.5 oz can Campbell’s® Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 2 14.5 cans French-Cut Green Beans drained
- 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese divided
- 1 cup French Fried Onions
- ½ teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1.5 tubes Crescent Roll Dough
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375F degrees.
- In a large bowl, combine green beans, half of the cheese and half the onions.
- Top with Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup and salt and stir it all together and set aside.
- Cut the crescent roll dough into 1.5” squares and add 1 piece to a greased mini muffin tin, stretching to cover the inside of the muffin indentation
- Add 1 tablespoon of green bean casserole mixture to each pastry square and evenly distribute another pinch cheese and crispy fried onions across the top of the bites.
- Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
- Remove and let rest for 5-10 minutes before removing from the muffin tin.
