OMG, guess what guys!? We finally did it and got a super swank new Canon camera that shoots sexy looking cooking videos! And guess what else is even more cool?! Jeremy knows how to shoot and edit them! Which means WE CAN MAKE SO MANY COOKING VIDEOS FROM NOW UNTIL FOREVER!!!! YAY!!!!

Oh and since we both have ADD, we decided to make each video about a minute long because, tbh, i think we all have way too much stuff going on in our lives to commit our precious time to a random slew of internet videos. Brussels Sprouts Au Gratin with Bacon and Caramelized Onions

We always hear about writers having writers block, but why doesn’t anyone talk about chefs getting cooking block? I’m pretty sure that I’m not the only one that deals with this dumb dilemma and I think it should be a common concept. Hey, maybe I’ll even take it upon myself to add it to urban dictionary.

But anyways, back to the point – cooking blocks sucks! There are days when I literally have a whole fridge full of awesome food, but I just don’t feel inspired. When this happens, I typically go on pinterest, check out the ole’ instagram, and stalk new restaurants that are on my must-eat list. But alas, sometimes even that doesn’t work! After the busiest summer of traveling EVER, Jerm and I are finally back to real life in New Smyrna Beach, FL! Sleeping in our own bed and being 3 blocks form the beach is great and all but I can’t help but dream about the dope food we had in Italy, Greece, New York, and Boston. Since I’ve been running around like a candy raver on too many drugs (totally a metaphor not IRL just SRSLY) , I haven’t had the opportunity to finalize my Italy travel guide (or any travel guide besides Boston, really).
