What are Honey Sriracha Brussel Sprouts?
So real talk, do you type brussel sprouts or brussels sprouts?!
I always thought it was singular version. And umm, I just figured out that I'm way wrong. Whoops!
But apparently myself and 77% of the people that are also googling it are wrong, too. So for google's sake, I'm spelling it like most people do.
Anyways, let's talk about this recipe!
Sweet, spicy, crispy and crunchy! They're light and airy and full of flavor.
And you won't believe how easy they are to make! All you need is 20 minutes and four ingredients and boom - side dish heaven!

Ingredients & Substitutions
(scroll down to the very bottom for the full recipe)
- brussel sprouts - No real sub here since this is the star of the show!
- olive oil - Any neutral oil will work just fine!
- honey - My favorite honey to use is orange blossom but you could absolutely use my hot honey sauce if you had some on hand.
- sriracha - If you don't have sriracha, you could use sambal or another favorite spicy chili sauce.
- fresh mint and cilantro - Both of these are totally optional but they had soo much flavor!
How to make them
Making these honey sriracha brussel sprouts is super easy!
To begin, you'll want to preheat the oven to 400F degrees.
Next, trim the edges off your brussel sprouts and cut them in half.
Then toss the brussel sprouts with olive oil and salt and place them face-down on a baking sheet. You can use tinfoil for easier cleanup but I think the metal from the sheet pan makes them more crispy!
You'll want to bake them for 20 minutes or until they're tender and crispy.
Meanwhile, go ahead and mix together honey and sriracha and set aside. You don't have to mix it but I like doing it to make sure the sweet-heat ratio is right on.
Sometimes certain honeys are sweeter than others so I like to taste test it first!
After the 20 minutes is up, take the brussel sprouts out of the oven.
Immediately toss the cooked sprouts with the honey sriracha mixture and the cilantro and mint.
Give them a taste and if you think they need a little more oomph, go ahead and sprinkle a little more salt on top.
How to make them in the air fryer
Making these honey sriracha brussel sprouts in the air fryer is another easy way to shave off some cooking time.
To do so, simply toss the brussel sprouts with olive oil (or spray with cooking spray) and salt and place in your air fryer basket.
You'll want to make sure that you don't stack them on top of each other so they're crispy.
If you have a big air fryer, like the one I use, this shouldn't be an issue!
But if you have a smaller one, you might want to do two batches so they have room to get crispy!
When you're ready to cook them, set the air fryer at 400F degrees. Be sure to preheat if your air fryer requires it.
Cook for 12-15 minutes at 400 -- stirring or tossing every 5 minutes or so.
Once they're crispy and crunchy, take them out and toss with the honey sriracha mixture!

What goes with brussels sprouts?
These honey sriracha brussel sprouts are the perfect side dish! The sweet, spicy and crunchy properties work perfectly with savory dishes and sweet dishes, too!
To be honest, I could eat a big bowl of them sprinkled with goat cheese for dinner and be a happy camper. But I know that my husband would be like umm babe this isn't a meal! So I digress... Here are some other tasty dishes to pair them with!
I love serving these honey sriracha brussel sprouts with a big bowl of cheesy turkey hamburger helper or this saffron cream ravioli with honey roasted tomatoes. Or a side dish with this Apricot Candied Salmon or this Chicken Shawarma Plate!
