For the Yams

Yams in syrup
drained (or canned sweet potatoes)

cup
Evaporated Milk

Eggs
½

Sugar in the Raw
½

Salted Butter
melted

teaspoon
Cinnamon

teaspoon
Vanilla Extract
For the Topping
1.5

Ritz Crackers
crushed

melted

Brown Sugar
Instructions
Pour the yams or sweet potatoes into a bowl and mash them well. Add remaining ingredients and mix until smooth. Place in a greased baking dish.
Now add the ritz crackers, brown sugar and butter to a separate bowl and mix until combined.
Pour the ritz mixture on top of the sweet potatoes and bake at 400 for 30-35 minutes.
