This crescent roll garlic knot recipe is so easy to make! All you need is 20 minutes and a few simple ingredients and you’ll have the best garlicky Italian appetizer that you can think of!
Roll out crescent rolls and divide into 4 rectangles. Be sure to use your fingers to patch up any open seams or visible holes.
Add half a mozzarella stick to each rectangle of crescent roll. Roll the mozzarella stick up in the dough and pinch the edges closed.
Gently tie the cheese stuffed dough into a knot and place on a lined baking sheet. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil and garlic salt.
Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, add butter and remaining olive oil to a pan over medium heat. Once the butter is melted and combined with the olive oil, add the garlic and cook over low for 2-3 minutes or until fragrant and tender.
Add parsley and red pepper flakes and stir. Cook for 3 more minutes on low.
Once the garlic knots are golden brown, remove them from the oven and drizzle the garlic butter over the top.
