Honey Whipped Brown Butter
Preheat oven to 450°F. Add butter to a baking dish (size options with notes above) and place in the oven until melted.
In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
Add buttermilk and stir until combined. Do not overmix.
Pour dough over melted butter and spread evenly.
Use a knife to score into squares.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Meanwhile, make the butters. For the brown butter, melt butter over medium heat until browned. Let cool slightly, then whip with honey and cinnamon.
For cowboy butter, mix all ingredients until combined.
Serve warm with both butters.
