Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 tube Crescent Rolls
  • 2 Low Moisture Mozzarella Cheese Sticks halved lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil divided
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • 4 tablespoon Salted Butter
  • 2 tablespoon Garlic finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley finely minced
  • ¼ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes **optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375F degrees.
  • Roll out crescent rolls and divide into 4 rectangles. Be sure to use your fingers to patch up any open seams or visible holes.
  • Add half a mozzarella stick to each rectangle of crescent roll. Roll the mozzarella stick up in the dough and pinch the edges closed.
  • Gently tie the cheese stuffed dough into a knot and place on a lined baking sheet. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil and garlic salt.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, add butter and remaining olive oil to a pan over medium heat. Once the butter is melted and combined with the olive oil, add the garlic and cook over low for 2-3 minutes or until fragrant and tender.
  • Add parsley and red pepper flakes and stir. Cook for 3 more minutes on low.
  • Once the garlic knots are golden brown, remove them from the oven and drizzle the garlic butter over the top.
