Dried Beef Cheese Ball

This dried beef cheese ball recipe is the perfect old school holiday appetizer! Tangy cream cheese is loaded with salty chipped beef, worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and scallions. Unlike the original recipe, this one has way less salt and no MSG so it's much healthier!

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz block of cream cheese room temp
  • 1.5 jars of Armour dried beef about 2.25 oz each, chopped and divided
  • 6 green onions divided
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • Mix together cream cheese, 1 jar of chopped dried beef, 4 chopped green onions, worcestershire saucee, and garlic powder.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together remaining chopped dried beef and chopped scallion.
  • Oil or spray your hands with nonstick and shape the cream cheese mixture into a ball. Roll the ball in the dried beef and scallion mixture until it’s thoroughly coated.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

If you don't want to use chipped beef or can't find it, you can definitely swap this recipe out for chopped salami!
