Boozy Shamrock Shake with Baileys, Irish Vodka and Creme de Menthe

This boozy shamrock shake will make all the adults extra happy on St. Patrick’s Day. I mean, who doesn’t love an excuse to drink a milkshake… especially when it has three types of liquor in it!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 shots Irish Vodka
  • 2 shots Baileys Irish Creme
  • 2 shots Crème de Menthe
  • 6 cups Vanilla Ice Cream
  • ½ teaspoon neon green food coloring
  • Whipping cream
  • Maraschino cherries
  • Sprinkles
  • mint sprig for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Add Vodka, Baileys, Crème de menthe, vanilla ice cream, and food coloring to a blender and mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Evenly add milkshake to two cups and top with a bit of whipped cream and a maraschino cherry. Add sprinkles and a colorful straw for added fun!

Notes

When I was researching this recipe, I found that some Crème de Menthe’s were bright green. If that’s what you have, then you can omit the food coloring. For me, all of the Creme de Menthe’s in my area were clear so I had to add food coloring to get the iconic green color.
