Stuffed Bagels with Bacon Scallion Cream Cheese

These stuffed bagels are filled with a quick and easy homemade bacon scallion cream cheese. Rather than making our own dough, I’m using crescent rolls to save time and effort.

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375F degrees.
  • Add cream cheese, cooked bacon and scallions to a bowl and stir.
  • Unroll crescent rolls and divide into 4 pieces.
  • Use your fingers to smooth out any holes so that each one is solid and doesn’t have any perforations on it.
  • Add ¼ of the cream cheese to the long side (kind of like a hot dog shape) and roll them like cigars - pinching the ends shut.
  • Wrap them into bagel-like circles and place on a lined or sprayed baking sheet.
  • Brush the top of each one with a little bit of beaten egg and then sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
  • Bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until the dough is cooked through and golden brown.

Notes

**If you’re not into everything bagel seeds, you can top them with cheese, sea salt, poppy seeds or any other bagel topping you prefer.
