1905 Inspired Viral Chopped Salad Sandwich

This play on the viral Chopped Salad Sandwich trend is inspired by one of Florida’s most iconic salads - the 1905 from the Colombia Restaurant. It’s made with iceberg lettuce, ham, swiss cheese, parm, olives and tomaotes with a light yet umami-packed dressing.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Iceberg Lettuce
  • ¼ Lb Virginia Ham
  • 3 Slices Swiss Cheese
  • ¼ Cup Grape Tomato
  • ¼ Cup Green Olives
  • 2 tablespoon Grated Parmigiano
  • 2 tablespoon Garlic Expressions
  • ½ teaspoon Worchestershire
  • ½ Juice Lemon
  • 1 Pinch Flaky Salt
  • ½ Loaf Cuban Bread about 12 inches

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients (minus the cuban bread) to a large cutting board.
  • Use a knife to chop it up into tiny bite sized pieces.
  • Cut the bread in half lengthwise and use it to scoop of the salad - making sure to pack any remaining salad back into the bread.
  • Grate some more parmigiano on top if desired.
  • Serve and enjoy!
