Why are bread bowls so much fun? Ummm, BECAUSE CARBS! Correct me if I’m wrong but eating a bowl made of hot and toasty bread is pretty much the best thing ever. Especially when it’s all cold outside and you can live inside a giant sweater and not care about having a little extra winter chin to keep you warm.
And yes, you might have heard that it’s like freakin’ summer here in Florida, but that doesn’t mean I’m not acting like it’s winter. Bring on the cold weather foods. Load me up with roasted root vegetables. Bathe me in rich cheese. Lather my face and hair in butter. Pet my winter chin. Tell me that I look like I’m eatin’ good and that my pasty complexion compliments a fine brie. Continue reading
Omg Happy National Cheese Lovers Day my sweetie pies! To celebrate, I came up with a special recipe for my besties at Wisconsin Cheese that combines my two favorite cheesy loves – grilled cheese (duh) and mac n cheese! This creamy Wisco gouda mac n cheese grilled cheese is served with a side of hot honey and let me tell you… It’s TO DIE FOR! Flaky biscuits, smokey fried ham, buttery muenster cheese and sweet honey butter makes these miniature Southern heart-shaped (OMG CUTE!) sandwiches perfect for picnics, parties, and binge eating when you’re depressed and have no ice cream. Each bite is packed with Southern goodness and the heart shape adds an extra layer of fun and romance… even when it’s lacking in real life.
