Let’s be real, chicken cordon bleu is really, really good but it sucks balls to make. Nobody wants to roll up a bunch of stuff into a raw chicken breast, cross their fingers, and hope that their creation will cook through. So instead of going through the painstaking process of chicken cordon bleu-ing, I’ve deconstructed this classic and turned it into a quick and easy chicken cordon bleu sandwich recipe that you can make in no time. Heads up though, the crispy fried chicken does require some brining time, but it’s not the end of the world if you’re in the “Aww man, I just wanna make this right now!’ mode. If you’re in this boat, just make sure to season the chicken really well before you fry it and you’ll be good to go. I spent about 8 years of my childhood in the Tampa Bay area, which… if you didn’t know, is pretty much The Cuban Sandwich capital of the world.
