In this ultimate fried chicken sandwich recipe, I combine all that is good in a cobb salad and throw it on top of a crispy piece of buttermilk fried chicken and shove it between two crispy halves of a pretzel bun. Think about this and let your taste buds have a little foreplay with this mouthgasmic mix of crispy fried chicken, creamy ranch, tangy blue cheese, irresistible Colby jack, smokey bacon, runny egg, fresh lettuce and juicy tomatoes. Let’s be real, chicken cordon bleu is really, really good but it sucks balls to make. So instead of going through the painstaking process of chicken cordon bleu-ing, I’ve deconstructed this classic and turned it into a quick and easy chicken cordon bleu sandwich recipe that you can make in no time. Heads up though, the crispy fried chicken does require some brining time, but it’s not the end of the world if you’re in the “Aww man, I just wanna make this right now!’ mode.
